Sandy Walker designed home on two lots in Stinson Beach's Seadrift community
echoes the formality and grace of the architecture. An Alaskan cedar bridge
spans the formal front yard sculpture garden where drifts of grasses, sage
and formal parterres disguise the residence's septic system. Formal plantings
in the pool area reflect the crisp, modulated building forms. Soft, sineuous
shapes define the beach garden's bed lines, with an underpinning of structure:
grids of tufting grasses and ground covers. This garden received an ASLA
Merit Award. Click here to see other
