pete pedersen, principal
Pete is involved in all aspects of the firm’s projects, from the design phase to completion of construction.
His designs have won numerous awards and have been featured in national and local publications. A graduate of Cal Poly, SLO, he’s an active member of the design community and has served on several design review boards, state and local committees as well as the San Anselmo Planning Commission.
He is also an avid mountain bike rider, home winemaker, fine art painter and guitar-playing member of the Panoramic Highway band. You can see some of Pete's art at petepedersenart.com
kai okada, landscape architect
Kai holds a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and has focused on green planning and design in the San Francisco Bay Area.
She has worked as a job captain on many estate residential and large commercial projects. Originally from Japan, she has lived on both coasts of the U.S., and has travelled extensively.
Her expertise in site-specific and sustainable design is a reflection of her diverse background and interests in arts and natural history.
taeko kawasaki, landscape architect
Born and raised in the forested mountains of Okayama, Japan, Taeko has a deep appreciation of nature and design.
She studied horticulture in England then pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
She loves working in Landscape Design and enjoys all aspects of the design process, from broad initial concepts to the precise detail of construction documents. Her work encompasses a range of projects from high-end residences to large public spaces.
Taeko enjoys traveling with her husband and is known to pay special attention to any park benches they encounter.
