The Meadow Club has been a Fairfax landmark since 1927. Our team was asked to redesign the grounds with a focus on drought tolerant surfaces and planting - all while keeping the traditional feel of this iconic property.
In order to introduce a sweeping view from the patio as well as create an inviting pathway to the pool area, PA sculpted the hill in front of the clubhouse into a lawn terrace and pool surface
The design team utilized the rock wall of the patio structure to create planting area to offset the long lines and add color and texture.
In keeping with the traditional architecture, the landscaping is clean and unfussy using tightly clipped plantings and flowering perennials.
