This lovely property sits nestled on the hillside above Mill Valley with beautiful views of Mt Tamalpais. The new owners hired PA to develop a master plan that reflected the lifestyle of their young, active family.
From there, PA developed several outdoor “rooms” to meet the family’s objectives for the space.
There is an intimate hot tub area, a large blue stone patio with a custom fire element and a built in grill/dining area for al fresco evenings.
To begin, we created a new entry complete with a bigger driveway for more adequate parking and a secure, custom-designed entry gate.
The plan made sure to accommodate the mature rhododendron that anchors the entertaining area and PA added colorful, low-water companion plants throughout to complete the space.
PA also designed a generous turf area large enough for the kids to play ball.
And tucked away from the entertaining areas are two raised veggie beds set on decomposed granite.
