Set on a gorgeous piece of property, the primary objectives of this project were to increase outdoor entertaining space and to augment poolside amenities.
The client wanted a garden that drew people in and encouraged interaction.
Pedersen Associates revamped the entry and created better access from event parking to the pool.
The new olive allee gracefully leads pedestrians from the parking area to the pool terrace, complete with a custom slab-stone fire element nestled under a canopy of oak trees.
The winding paths meander through the olives and are dotted with seating, vistas and sculpture.
The site is planted with drought tolerant varieties such as yarrow, sage, grasses and lavender – the result is both serene and magical.
